LOL .. I was speaking about Fitz .. ROFL!! Missed Chrissy .. caught Shuster on (GAG) Keithoverblown.
Where is Fitz's boss ... AG Gonzalez, the DOJ? Who's Fitz's behavior have to pass muster with?? Who's his boss?
That's the joke -- he has no boss and is operating totally unsupervised and unchecked. Unbelievable.
I feel more and more like Im in the Twilight Zone ...where alternate realities exist side by side
I know how you feel...Through the Looking Glass...
I was over at JOM trying to make sense of stuff and again it struck me ...They see an Elephant I see a Flea.
Also what has been going on in this country since GW was elected has been extrordinary .From the first cries of "He stole this election " the left as been straining to make their "Facts" fit their "Theory"
Lets face it, this is a piss poor scandal if there ever was one ...but they continue to beat on it as if its Pandora's Box.
I thought I was only confused because I have come to the "politics" game late..
I was busy raising my kiddos..and working, plus not learning how to use a computer...so I really didn't even pay attention to politics until the 2000 election.
(I did pay attention to Clinton, but only to the "tabloid" aspects of his presidency)...
Sooooooo..I had been thinking I was just ignorant..so that is why all of this vitriol made me really angry.
However, since then, I have heard too many people that have been around politics of decades that have said they have never, ever seen it like this.
I used to joke that Pres. Bush could personally find a cure for cancer, and the Dems and MSM would find a way to make him the "bad guy"...now, I am convinced of it.
People talk about how we shouldn't stay in Iraq, especially Baghdad, and get between Sunni and Shiites....but, I dare say....getting between the Dems/MSM and the POWER they crave would be just as big of a WAR.
BTTT
Good comments ....I wonder how long we will await the verdict
I bet it will be either like the OJ case..and everyone will have gone in with a pre-conceived verdict in their minds..and will convict quickly...
Or, they will be so totally confused, it might take until next week sometime.
I have a feeling though, that they are DC jurors, out to "get the man"...so, I would bet a quick verdict...maybe Thursday afternoon.
It's almost an all white jury so what "man" are they going to get?
So he knew from Day 1 that his only chance to get something on Bush-Cheney administration involved the fact that he would have a DC jury, and therefore he had used all this time (about 3 years) and unlimited resources to "create" / "cook" a somewhat coherent case to present to DC jury.
Hence, it's a case and trial about uncovering identity of "classified CIA agent" and "WH obsession with critic Wilson" as revenge for criticism of "pre-war intelligence" where all and any evidence about the "classified CIA agent" and "WH critic Wilson" and "pre-war intelligence" is not allowed, not admissible and trial itself, in Fitz's words, "is not about war" or "CIA agent" or "WH critic Wilson".
Yet, throughout the trial and in closing arguments he gets to argue that the charges stem from "classified CIA agent" blown identity, that "WH obsessed"... etc., etc.
So, nothing has changed since Day 1 of Fitz taking the case from his pal Comey - all the time spent on his faux "investigation" was really used to "create out of whole cloth" the case that could be presented to DC jury and, even if "half-cooked", be enough for them to justify conviction on at least one of the counts.
It's a "designer case" - "Size: DC jury . Made in USA . Designed by Patrick Fitzgerald" label.
Fitz is a cheap trick prosecutor. He reserved one and one-half hours for rebuttal--a cheap trick used in weak cases-- and he used the last part of that time to make totally improper arguments appealing to the prejudice of the jury. The little admonition and corrective instruction made by Walton at the end was pathetically weak. This thing is a bigger and bigger joke with each passing day.
I don't know what you mean....
I have always used "the man" as the "head honcho"..the "big boss"...and I never had a racial thought in my mind..
You forget that conservatives are more likely to be people with lives who try to get out of serving on juries. Only government workers. or people who don't work, can afford to spend a month away from work for a trial. I have jury duty coming up next week and the last thing I want is to actually be picked for the jury.
Not so easy here. Felons are excluded and so are many who have family members in the judicial system..This jury is predominantly (10 of 12) white, includes 2 PHDs and a large professional component.
Cowards and traitors actually try to evade jury duty.
Something like that.
