Students for Sam Brownback is reporting that they have the inside scoop on a huge (50,000 homes) new Iowa Poll that shows Sam Brownback in 3rd place:
Results from Respondents who intend to vote in the January 2008 Republican Presidential Caucus:
35.26% of respondents intend to vote for Rudy Giuliani.
19.09% of respondents intend to vote for John McCain
6.60% of respondents intend to vote for Sam Brownback.
5.89% of respondents intend to vote for Mike Huckabee.
5.07% of respondents intend to vote for Mitt Romney.
28.09% of respondents are undecided or expressed no preference on whom to vote for in the January 2008 Republican Presidential Caucus.
((((POLL PING)))))
So? It is still over a year. Once people learn about Rino Rudy they will look elsewhere.
Alllrighty then! Congratulations - you are the first in 1 minute flat!
I am not sure about this. The Iowa Poll results are closely held until announced and IMHO Brownback has not really made much of an inroad here. We'll see when the poll is officially released.
This far out polls are only good of one thing, a stripper. Alot can and will happen in a year.
I think by know these people, who intend to come to the caucus, are quite informed about Rudy's positions in social issues.
There is not enough of a difference between Hitlary and Rino Rudy to care who wins if he is nominated. They are not the flip sides of the same coin, but the left and right cheeks of the same gludious maximus. I will go third party if he is nominated.
Have you ever gone third party before?
Thanks for clearing that up.
LOL!
What about Newt?
I voted independent before, as well as libertarian. I will probably go constitution party if Rino RUdy is nominated.
please remove me from "poll ping."
No problem - this is the same as the Rudy ping list I just put the words poll on it. Do you want off the Rudy ping list? I'll be happy to remove you if you want.
I am on the ground and actively engaged in Iowa politics.
I have not endorsed anyone for the Caucuses.
And I SERIOUSLY doubt the accuracy of this report. McCain and Romney have 'won' the "staffer war". Between the two of them they have hired almost every capable staffer in the state, leaving Rudy, Sam, et.al. to struggle to find staff who understands the Caucus process and has the relationships established to lend credibility to their campaigns.
Word of Advice: Take this poll with a grain of salt.
Well, 11 months anyway.
Rudy is where he is on name recognition alone. (Sadly, it seems that more and more people each year vote using that as their only guide.)
Yep.
Well to be honest I've never heard of this poll before.
I meant in a Presidential election. I wondered if you went with Ross Perot in '92.
