Like the ramblings of most lunatics, there is some truth mixed in with the hyperbole.......

We will have a second carrier group in the Gulf the beginning of February.....This is a visible escalation on our part and definitely meant to at minimum send a strong message to Iran.....

The issue of Israeli fighters with nuclear weapons being turned back on January 7th.....possible but not likely....This type of mission would be pre-cleared prior to take-off.....Since we had already dispatched a second carrier group to the region, the Israeli's would know that we would not grant overflight until we had the assets in place to handle the "fallout".....

The anti-Bush rant mixed in with the "facts" killed any interest I had in the multiple scenarios the author presented.

The IFF code "thingy" is a hoax. Israel has had our 'codes" since before the first Gulf War. I worked military avionics for quite a while and know full well how IFF works. I can't really discuss the intricacies of the military portion of IFF, so y'all will have to trust me a little on this. I'm with the majority here. This story smacks of BS!!
