If I may ask, where are you from in Germany? As I mentioned in an earlier post, my ancestors came from the Hanover area (father's side) and Hinter-Pommern (mother's side) back in the 1850's. I spent 1 1/2 years in Erlangen during my tour of duty. It's a beautiful country with very gracious people.

bcsco, originally I am from the South. I'm grown up right next to Coleman Barracks in Mannheim. Since almost ten years I live in the mid-west/north pretty close to the Netherland Boarder. I am the only one that is so far away from Landstuhl which is the reason I mainly work with deployed troops. We've got the Brits and Scots-guards in town and they get deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan from here. There is the Dutch-German Corpse and the NATO Base. Münster is an awesome town and place. Especially because of it's history.
