A Soldier's Perspective has been under attack from a "group" of liberals. It turns out that the "group" was really just one person; the owner/operator of liberal blog OneUtah.org.
Not only did he call several of us Nazis, he claimed that one of his personalities lost "her" son in Iraq.
I went over to the site and looked at it. There is a larger truth here, and that is nothing on the Internet is private. For instance, I've said some provacative things on the Internet, especially here, but nothing that could be construed as obscene, libelous, defamatory, or seriously deranged, I hope. (This doesn't mean that I won't suffer disagreement.) What I post will come back to haunt me, I'm sure, someday. I'd rather have whatever comes back to be like Casper the Friendly Ghost rather than Bob Marley.
I hope that the people who put together the military blog gently open their consistent poster in the light of day and let his words speak for themselves.
I'd check the law on that. If it's a crime to lie about your own service, then the same might apply to making up relatives who didn't serve.
I think Bob Marley would make a pretty mellow ghost.
I crack myself up. I should have said JACOB Marley. On the other hand, if Bob Marley shows up, it would be definately a trip to those Grateful Dead concerts of Christmas past. LOL
