"If Mollohan were actually convicted of something, or at least found guilty and cencured, maybe it would have an effect."
It might, but most likely unless he couldn't run from his jail cell, he would still be re-elected. He is a crook following in the footsteps of his father, also a crook, from whom he inheirited his congressional seat. Yes, WV is a corrupt state where everything is for sale. The pols take bribes to dispense jobs and contracts, but WV cannot hold a candle to PA. All a pol in PA has to do while robbing the taxpayers blind in thousands of ways that those in WV have not even dreamed of, is be able to make a call to a "buddy" and fix a parking ticket. For that, the brain dead in W PA are thrilled to be repeatedly fleeced up one side and down the other year after year and will get the entire family to turn out and vote for the crook again and again!

To All:
Here's a bit more from Maloney's new blog entry:
If you want to encourage Diana to run and desire to support her efforts, please send me your e-mail address, and I'll pass it on to her. You can send it to TalkTop65@aol.com.
The America we know and love doesn't sustain itself by happenstance. It requires the efforts of all of us.

Thanks for posting this blog, Red. It will be one to watch carefully. There are several entries that are of great interest and I will bookmark the site.
Murtha's 2006 spending against Diana Irey was $3,158,873.
Odd no one has commented on this. Where did he spend over $3 mil? I did see some pretty impressive fliers that were apparently mass mailed, that informed all of the many things he and his wife had done for the area. {gag}
With the enemedia giving him free airtime and political posturing, he had no need to spend money on ads. He certainly did not spend much on signs. Yet, they say he spent $3 mil. Amazing.

A big top o' the morning to you, Mel!
There was much to nail the demonRATS with. Pity none of it was used to defeat them.
Catch ya later!

Why did Murtha let him slip off the Ethics commitee when Murtha is stuffing the commitee with Represenatives that he helped elect to the house?
