Hello Freepers. I've examined the likely candidates for 2008 and I feel that we should focus our money and support to one Sam Brownback. He's the only Conservative considering a campaign as of yet. What qualifies me to make such a call of action? I point you to an incident that occured in April of 2004. The link is below :

I think Sam Brownback is a great man and a great Senator.

I don't think he has a chance in hell of being elected in '08.

He'd make an excellent VP pick, however. Especially if it's someone who needs to mend bridges with the social conservatives, such as Giuliani.

Kudos... Senator Sam Brownback has done great things for this nation and for the people of Kansas. His ideals closely resemble that of the nations greatest president, Ronald Reagan. Sure he voted yes for social security to illegal immigrants. This was on the principle that if they didn't receive the benefits they would have in fact no longer paid into the fund, herein destroying what is left of the social security fund. However, Kansas doesn't have a good record with presidential bids. If he wants to stand a chance he needs to gain face in the media, instead of that nazi Hillary (has no chance in '08).
