At least I deserved an OPPORTUNITY to win. This is like when I was nine years old and was training incredibly hard for a swim competition. Comes the day of the competition and for some stupid reason the judges didn't have my name on the list of competitors (a clerical error on their part). Not being able to compete completely crushed me. My Dad didn't make things any better when he tried to make me think it wasn't such a big deal. It WAS a big deal. Maybe I wouldn't have won the swimming competition but not even being allowed to compete was really tough on me.
Understandable. And you are right. I wonder if there was a reason you were considered, perhaps a PC one?
