My kids' mother DID wear combat boots. They've always loved that line. Both of my kids are GI--Government Issue. Even my medical records say that having them was "in the line of duty."

My First Sargent used to tell me that if the Army wanted me to have kids the Army would have issued them. I told him that the kids were GI, God issued. He got a kick out of that.
