Anyone who bothers to check Islam out can quickly come to the conclusion that it's a theological sham. (ooops-politically correct ears may be listening) The first time I ever bothered reading anything about Islam (in a very cursory way) was when I first heard about the Nation of Islam (even orthodox Muslims regard them as a joke)---that was way before 9/11. Even back then I came to the conclusion that ISLAM WAS PRETTY MUCH A CUT AND PASTE RELIGION. It's a shame that over 1 billion people have been duped. Even if one doesn't believe in Christianity per se; the divinity of Jesus Christ etc. etc. one is forced to admit that it has been an influence for the better (much more positive than negative). Can the same be said for Islam?---afraid not!
The first time I was exposed to it when visiting a Muslim country way back, they didn't know I understand some Arabic, trust me I don't like to say what they said about Christians.
