turning on them because of a single, ill-timed remark

When would have been a better time?

"Well Bruce did and James Taylor did and Neil Young did. But it wasn’t enough. "

A dunderhead and two smack addicts coming to their aid wasn't enough? What is this country coming to?

BK: The animosity continues to be fueled by the Free Republic [website] and if you ever go online to see what they’re saying, they’re saying the same things that they said in 2003, but they’ve got it down more. They are the ones who send out thousands of letters to radio stations to boycott the music. It’s still out there.

If the ACLU or DU or KOS or Air America encouraged that kind of thing, it would be called "speaking truth to power" and "mobilizing The People".

When people of a different political persuasion do it, though, it's BAAAAAAD.

but they’ve got it down more.

(Good English, Barbara.) So what? If Planned Parenthood or gay rights people did this you'd be praising them for their efficiency and for having a clear message.

It's always funny when AICN gets political--they're a bunch of ill-informed goofballs in their parents' basements who learned their politics from watching Star Trek. They don't mention so much that the last documentary they gushed this much over was in support of Hugo Chavez, because they know NOTHING about politics--nothing. And they are proud of their believing Jon Stewart and those other comedians, who have writers telling them what to think, are the "truth tellers" of today.

Stop rewatching The Matrix and read a book and get out of the cellar. You too, Babs.

"They had no idea."

They still don't. How's the box office on this trifling bit of cinematic flotsam, anyhow?

turning on them because of a single, ill-timed remark

Talk about failing to get a grip on her own reality!

Every time that I've heard 'Pigette' open her mouth, she's continued to amplify and heap it on... not only the President, but her country and fans too.

As you can probably tell, Kopple is something of a god to me.

Some lady who makes documentaries? Why not a plumber?

" it’s about a large chunk of this nation and the Chicks’ fan base turning on them because of a single, ill-timed remark. "

SHUT UP AND EAT POPCORN.

That "single remark" is the biggest lie told so far. Natalie Maines has continued to spout idiotic statements (things like "we weren't really country anyway" and "why should you have to like this country to live here?").

"It’s really important to us that this film show in schools and show to young people that they can stand up and do things for themselves. And we’d hate it if it was R rated and many of them couldn’t see it."

Your tax dollars at work, liberals indoctrinating "your" children.

"I sat down with Kopple and Peck recently, and, I’ll admit, I found myself hypnotized by their energy, words, and overall loveliness."

Did you kiss and fondle her too? Maybe some heavy petting? Sounds like you want to bed her, not interview her.
