Who Is The Anti-Semite Again?

A few days ago Chuck Schumer said this on the ultra-liberal show belonging to Bill Maher: (h/t Larry Elder)

"there are some anti-Semites in this country but most of them will vote Republican anyway"

Ha ha, funny stuff right? I mean we all know Republicans hate Israel and the Jews right?

What planet do these guys come from? I mean seriously?

Let me start a list here:

• Jesse Jackson - Referred to NYC as "Hymietown" and the Jews as "Hymies"
• Al Sharpton - Referred to Jews as "Diamond Merchants"
• Michael Moore - Referred to the Iraq War as about Oil, Halliburton, and Israel
• Andy Young - Said that Jews had exploited blacks first.
• Hillary Clinton - Referred to Bill's campaign manager as a "Fu#$ing Jew Bastard" after a loss.
• Representative Dingle - Wouldn't take sides with Isreal in their war against Hezbollah and stated he was not against Hezbollah
• Representative Billy McKinney - Said his daughters (Cynthia McKinney) problems was a Jewish plot "Jews bought everybody. That's J-E-W-S,"

What do all those people have in common? They are all Democrats.

Lets not get into the ongoing attempts to assert, by many Democrats, that the Neo-Cons only went to war in Iraq at the behest of Israel while they support Israel's enemies.....namely Hezbollah and Hamas.

Don't believe me? Check out the many polls done recently. In one it shows that only 47% of Democrats support Israel while 72% of Republican do. A big big difference.

The LA Times did a poll where they ask if Israel is justified in retaliating against Hezbollah for the kidnapping of it's soldiers and if the response is not too harsh. Only 29% of Democrats agreed while 64% of Republicans did. The rest felt it was too harsh or that the retaliation was unjustified. In this poll they found 25% of Republicans felt that Israel was too harsh while over 50% of Democrats felt that way.

Who supports Israel again?

Hell, just check out the article written by Lanny Davis, former advisor to Bill Clinton, where he wrote about how surprised he was when he discovered how bigoted the left is against Israel.

But according to Chuck Schumer it's Republicans who are anti-Semitic. I mean the outgoing chairman of the RNC is a Jew for friggin sake.

This is the kind of propaganda that is on-going and which we need to fight. Just like this recent show done by the Simpsons where they try to show the US Military as cradle robbers and idiots. Or this show on The Family Guy where they show Republicans as big gay bashers.

They enjoy propagating the myth that Republicans are eeeeviiiilllll money grubbers when the exact opposite is true. We just want Government out of our lives and back into the business of protecting this country.

UPDATE

Larry Elder asked on his show today what we thought might have happened if someone asked a Republican if they thought there would ever be a black President and the Republican said "Yes I do, there are some racists in America but most of them are Democrats anyway....ha ha ha"

Chucky Schumer is himself an antisemite. He caucuses with them. He votes with them. He pals around with them. He even came down here to campaign for Webb, and that guy definitely has some antisemitic baggage (as does his sponsor, the Washington Post).

Just who does Chucky think he's fooling. Guy's a regular Adolph Eichmann wannabee if you ask me and I wouldn't be surprised to find him swapping Israel for access to Arabian oil.

This book by David Horowitz sheds a lot of light on the question. Horowitz, for those who aren't familiar with his work, understands the Left intimately because he used to be a leftist leader and ideologue. His is not the only witness to leftist anti-semitism, of course, but it is among the sharpest in our time.

Not any worse that Jim Baker, Pat Buchanon, or Condi Rice, though.

Both parties are not friends of Israel. The only difference is that the ordinary folks in the Republican party are friendly to Israel while the folks in the Democrat party are not.

But both our parties' leadership are like peas in a pod regarding Israel.

Heck, there were a fair number of posters here on the FreeRepublic that quickly blamed the Jews for our loss on 7 November... and were willing to cast Israel to the lions in retribution for it.

So, pardon me if I don't believe the "Republican's like Israel" crud. Conservatives do, but we're learning right quick that the Republican party ain't so conservative anymore.

thank you for that post starman. I can tell you from my web experience that the left is incredibly anti-Semitic or at the very least virulently hostile towards Israel. I am much more comfortable with conservatives and rebuplicans, even if there are some anti-Semites lurking in our ranks.
