Your right, but forgetting one thing. God has yet to have his say in the matter. And since all power in heaven and earth is now in Christ's hands, he is just allowing evil to run its final course, and settle the great controversy in Heaven, once and forever, before He puts all his enemies under his feet. You ain't seen NOTHING yet! The Rock of Ages is going to become the Shock of Ages, to both believers and nonbelievers alike, when he turns this upside down world right side up.

But you have overlooked something as well, my friend.

Throughout history, when His people have become sin riddled and apostate, He has punished them with invasions, bondage, plagues, etc., etc. frequently using other nations to do so.

Could He possibly be angry with America for throwing Him out of the public square and the schools? Angry for the promiscuous sex and the consequent murder of 30 million unborn babies as a form of final birth control in dealing with the unwanted life thus created? Angry for the legitimization and public acceptance of sodomite behavior? Angry for the epidemic of child abuse? It's a long list.

I would be more amazed if He DIDN'T exact a price for all of that.

Given all of that, we'd better be asking ourselves which side He is rooting for in the current conflict and clean up our act -- if there's still time.
