Well. It's confirmed. Senator McCain resigned his honorary position from the Board of Trustees at Gallaudet University. Like one commenter said,
"McCain can take a LOT of flak- Gee, Deafies ran off the guy who stood up to the North VN Communists! ACK!"
Indeed. McCain was a POW in North Vietnam. He's now an ex-honorary member of Gallaudet's Board of Trustees....

McCain's been acting very strange in interviews lately (the past 6 months or so). .....as if he's heavily medicated. He speaks like a robot, and often barely audibly. Perhaps all the talk about his volitile temper prompted him to take action. .....pharmaceutical action.

Every ounce of pizazz he ever had is now gone. His chances in '08 are about the same as Kerry's. .....and thank goodness for that.

On the other hand, McCain dipping into his wife's prescriptions isn't as serious as Rudy dipping into his ex-wives' (plural) wardrobes...

The protests this year stuck a huge blow to the reputation of Gallaudet. My guess is he resigned to avoid being associated with it.

Lots of crazy things going on at Gallaudet lately.
The radicals ran off some well qualified people because they were not born deaf, but became deaf later in life.

Also, it is up to the vice president (that would be Cheney) to select a Senator to be the voting member of the Board of Trustees at Gallaudet University according to the university's bylaws I've linked.
So, is that a good thing?
