Evangelicals are Protestant. I think you are suggestiong that Protestant and Charismatic/Pentecostal be separated.

There's been a tendency of late to identify the Pentecostals as Evangelical, which they aren't.

Snake handlers, on the other hand, are not Pentecostal, but clearly in the main line of Protestantism (Reform/Evangelical); it's just that they drink poison and use snakes at church services ~

Evangelicals are Protestant, but not all Protestants are Evangelical. Furthermore, many mainline Protestant denominations are very liberal in their values whereas Evangelicals tend to be conservative. That is why a division was suggested. The number of Evangelical DUers would be around the number of Hindus listed.

I have to disagree on the Protestants. I think many of them are Unitarian Universalists.
