I totally agree. Actually, 'far left' and 'far right' are misnomers in my opinion. I think the political spectrum is actually more like a circle, and when you go too far in either direction you wind up in essentially the same place, totalitarianism. Fascists and leftists both have disdain for individuality. Freedom requires individuality.

I don't agree. On one end there are control freaks who think the government shouild be making all the decisions. There are subdivisions of this belief: Nazis, communists, socialists, ecowackos, anti gun freaks, anti-smoking Nazis, anti-fatty food freaks, etc. ad nauseam.
On the other side there are those who want to be left alone as much as possible, and are willing to leave others alone as much as possible.
When you line it up that way you don't let the Communists and Communist sympathizers pretend they aren't basically the same as the Nazis. They will hate you for pointing that out.

I fail to see fascism as "extreme right".
It is another socialist ideology. Limiting the power of government was a dream of the founders of this nation.
