This is nutso stuff even for him ~ maybe not Dr. Dean, but for him.
I'd say the man is too sick to continue serving in the Senate. Wouldn't blame John McCain knocking him on his a$$ right there in the Well of the Senate first chance he gets ~ maybe beat him with a cane, this pull his fingernails out, infect an old wound, a variety of things ~ no doubt John knows what to do.
