Did you respond to them, or just let them go unchallenged?
She TRIED to respond to them, but like all libs they just don't WANT to hear the truth. They are FRIGHTENED of the truth. I know, I've been a few rounds with their type, and I presented written proof, but they said, and I quote one of them, "I don't have time for this trash."
I see your screen name suits you! I'm sorry you had to deal with that, as I think the teachers' lounge should be just for that: lounging!
I guess it's hard to tell someone faceon: "have you considered that you're being lead on by people who would have you remain uninformed of the realities of these situations?"
Did you read what she wrote? Yes, she responded to them, but they were a bunch of magpies and talked over her.
Yes, she says she did. But have you ever tried to teach a pig to sing?
For a few minutes I just sat and listened. Then I asked them where they got the information that 655,000 Iraqis were killed, and one fellow said, "Oh, it was a study." By whom? "Scholars, they're scholars!" That's when I brought up the part about the cluster points. Then a young woman and I got into it about how Bush has tried to convince the world that he only went into Afghanistan to liberate the women (?!) and I asked her to tell me when and where he'd said that, and of course, she retreated into "statements were made to that effect." By whom? "The government!"
I'm blown away by how vague they are. "Some guy said..." and "some study said..." and "I read in the newspaper..."
