Congress Pleads For Dog The Bounty Hunter
Celebrity Stink! ^ | Pete Quince

What does the man have to be apologetic about? Capturing a convicted serial rapist who should never have been in Mexico in the first place? Maybe for not saying "may I" first?

Perhaps he should apologize for taking all those millions of Luster pesos out of the hands of that impoverished and corrupt little country?

Dog was in constant contact with US and Mexican authorities, and had even paid a Mexican cop to come along on the arrest. The cop, (being Mexican and all,) hightailed it when the tortias hit the fan!

The FBI and other authorities then disavowed any knowledge of the Dog's actions, and they all left him holding the bag. Hell, even his Mexican lawyer told him just to go home and forget it!

Consequently, I am sick and tired of hearing jealous BEAs and other hate mongers prattle on and on about how Chapman "broke the law and should pay the price!"

Mexican law? Give me a break!!

The same Mexico that harbors rapists like Luster, drug lords and cop killers, just to name a few; and flatly refuses to extradite them back to US soil.

The US government should flatly refuse to extradite the Chapmans for this misdemeanor nonsense of "Deprivation Of Liberty." Besides, since Luster went from Dog's cuffs straight to the FBI's, and thence to Soledad (Folsom) prison to serve his 124 year sentence, I'd say his half hour or so with the Dog is the least of his problems!

And as for the justice or legality of what Dog and his boys did, I'll take the word of Luster victim Tonja Doe over anybody elses, any day. She knows the horror and the true reality of the situation. She knows about the real facts of the matter. And a lot better than anybody in goverment on either side of the border!

Best I know, though, Mexico could sue to catch the Dog. It's black letter law. Treaties and all. If a treaty is to implement tit for tat, it has to be negotiated in, not outraged in.

Does anyone know this guy Dog was arrested 18 times for armed robbery and did time for murder? It says it right here on Wikipedia....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_Chapman

Not saying he doesn`t do good now, and did great by going after this Luster and that Mexico can go to hell over this, but it seems Dog ain`t no angel himself. I mean come on, EIGHTEEN freggin` times?

The "dogs" really come out when some US government agency is upstaged. It burns their asses when they are shown to be incapable, inept and unnecessary. Did I mention overpriced?

Let the big dog eat.

Sounds like, if true, just the kind of past that one could draw from to immerse oneself into the criminal underworld for the cause of righteousness.

Pat Boone would not have made a good bounty hunter.

Yeah, I don`t know if I buy that 18 times stuff...I don`t know the law, but I can imagine if somebody is convicted even once for armed robbery, they would be put away for quite some time, but 18 times PLUS murder? If that were true I would think he`d be doing a hell of lot more time than 5 years.

Yeah this has to be complete BS, look what is says here...

"Chapman, the oldest of four children of Wesley and Barbara Chapman, has been arrested 18 times for armed robbery. Chapman was convicted of murder in Texas in 1977; he was sentenced to 5 years at hard labor. He attained parole in 1979.[1]"

Convicted of murder (in Texas no less) in 1977 and out in 1979..TWO years?? No way!
