Conservatives Need To Take Their Own Advice
RightBias ^ | 10-17-06 | Nancy Morgan

Conservatives are fed up. Rumblings in the ranks about the growth of the federal government, new entitlement spending and lack of a coherent immigration policy are taken as a sign that many conservatives may just opt out of the coming election.

Some conservatives have gone so far as to suggest that it might be a good thing if Democrats took over the wheels of government, just to show those darn tax and spend Republicans that we're unhappy with their leadership. In essence, go stand in the corner for the next two years and let that be a lesson to you.

"Some conservatives have gone so far as to suggest that it might be a good thing if Democrats took over the wheels of government."

We don't have that luxury today, not even a scintella. The risk of doing something like that can result in a disaster that we might not be able to recover from. Those that suggest this are insane.

Blog pimping is when you excerpt your own blog here so you can drum up traffic for your site.

:-)

Quote: "The other night on Fox News, premier political guru, Dick Morris, made a compelling point. (Morris may be sleazy but he's often right)"

The article was doing so well up until this point.

So your position is: Don't post a blog, which contains a valid personal view on a timely subject. Which also contains information from a political expert whose view on this issue has so far, been limited to the airwaves. Don't post it on the blog section of FR because it might generate some clicks on my site (which, by the way, has no advertising and is in existence to make available the conservative POV) Is that really what you're saying?

I never said any of that. Since you own the site why does it need to be excerpted?
