Pelosi does not allow union grape-pickers to work in her vast vineyards in California. Nor does she allow union workers to work in her chain of up-scale restaurants.

Caesar Chavez, the high Mucky-Muck of the grape-picker's union, lets Pelosi get away with her anti-union stand because she helps Chavez politically quid pro quid.

Would wealthy people be socialists if they too had to throw all of their wealth and possessions into a common pot, redistribute their own income, and live like they say everybody else should live? I don't think so.

In early 2004, according to Roll Call, Mr. Murtha "reportedly leaned on U.S. Navy officials to sign a contract to transfer the Hunters Point Shipyard to the city of San Francisco."

Laurence Pelosi, nephew of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, at the time was an executive of the company which owned the rights to the land.
