That's it Purrcival, I had a pic of "Pinky and the Brain" in mind as I wrote that line about them....

Problem is, the DUmmies all live in a cartoon fantasy world and they are gradually turning themselves into cartoons, that's why PJ has such an easy go of it parodying them.

Speaking of parody: PJ, your idea of a new version (post 63)of "Imagine"

Hmmm...Sounds like the basis of an "Imagine" song parody.
Imagine there's no DUmmies...

is a good one...go with it. Although Lennon will be spinning in his grave since he would probably agree with the DUmmies...

Well, I have done a version of "Imagine" in the past, only it was a DUmmie fantasy about impeachment:

IMAGINE THERE'S IMPEACHMENT
Tune: "Imagine"

Imagine there's impeachment--
It's easy if you're high.
No proof to slow us,
And no one asking why.
Imagine all of Congress
Voting to impeach. . . .

Imagine there's no Chimpy--
It isn't hard, DU.
No one like Rice or Rumsfeld,
No Dick Cheney, too.
Imagine Karl the Traitor
Serving life at least. . . .

You may say I'm a DUmmie,
But I'm not the only one.
I bet there's way more than fifty,
And there could be fifty-one.

Imagine no more DUFUs--
I wonder if you can.
No need to read their humor
And laughter at our plans.
Imagine all the freepers
Feeling bad like us. . . .

You may say I'm a DUmmie,
But I'm not the only one.
I bet there's way more than fifty,
And there could be fifty-one.
