In all seriousnees, I worked with a guy in Maine when I was a teenager who didn't know "wetback" was a racially loaded term. How much more common is "wetback" than "macaca?" How many Americans knew what the word "macaca" meant before this crap? They probably would have thought it was the capital of Madagascar.
