Not particularly. We all know that the 'rat playbook is to lie like a rug. Make up wild accusations and hope they stick.
In this case, they saw what kind of traction they got with the whole ridiculous "macaca" flap, and decided they could run their entire VA Senate campaign on the slogan "Allen is a racist". Suddenly, seemingly overnight, they manage to manufacture several "witnesses" to Allen's "racist" behavior. I'm shocked, shocked I say, to find fabricators and pervaricators in amoung the ranks of Democrat activists.
All this aside, the most recent "indcident" according to the allegations, is 1976. Not only is this 30 years in the past, Allen would have been 24 years old at the time.
So, for the sake of argument, let's just assume that everything being alleged is true, except the patently ridiculous story about the deer head. So what? Are we to believe that Allen has been secretly a racist, just waiting to pounce now, despite 8 years in the VA House, 2 years in the U.S. House, 4 years as VA governor, and 6 years in the VA Senate with absolutely NO indication that his public policies are in any way, shape, or form "racist"?
