"You're bothering those who have been here longer."
It's amusing just how much a signup date validates people here.
"Get a few more months as a FReeper and maybe then someone will listen to you"
Oh, plenty listen to me.

"A vote for Bush is most definitely NOT a vote for our troops. Bush has the Secret Service, while many of our troops had to phone back home to get better equipment."
Your problem is that you fail to live in the real world. One of two men was going to become commander-in-chief as a result of the 2004 election - Kerry or Bush. Although Bush isn't perfect, he was the best of the two. The troops overwhelmingly support him and the terrorists hate it. A vote for Bush was a vote for our soldiers and marines and against terrorism. You can distract from the issue by saying "That's odd. I looked all over my ballot and couldn't find "troops" or "terrorists" listed" but the truth of the matter is that all your constitution party vote did was take a vote away from Bush. Luckily, there were enough of us who realized Bush was the better of the two and reelected him.
You don't know what kind of justice Harriet Miers would have been. I agree that we need more time to see exactly how Alito and Roberts will turn out - but again, I can guarantee you that they are better than anyone Kerry would have nominated.
But, hey, keep on whining. It suits you.

I value the party because I value my country. Without the party, your "issues," which are also my issues, would get absolutely nowhere. Again, I don't think you know or care how bad things can get with the Rats.
The purpose of a party headquarters is to win elections, to work as a team, not to shoot our own guys. I sure hope you stay away from them.

I noticed two of the most rabid troll defenders have been vanished.
I shall not miss them greatly.

No, another party would take its place. Washington warned us about political parties - that factions would care more about their own power than the fate of the nation.
"The purpose of a party headquarters is to win elections, to work as a team, not to shoot our own guys"
The thing you fail to see is that many of "our guys" are in fact working for the other side. How else can you explain the crushing domestic spending, the plan put forth by the McCain/Kennedy hydra to import millions of Dems, the general expansion of government? All those particular Republican care about is power - theirs.
"Work as a team"... Tell that to the NRCC.
"I sure hope you stay away from them."
Oh, yes. We can't give our political masters the impression that there might be a price for a betrayal of the party platform.... You can NEVER give them the impression that they have your vote regardless, or you will have NO say and they will do what they want.

"You sound like JohnGalt."
I've never actually bothered to read that book, but you ought to understand that much of the base of the party is very angry with the Republicans in power now. At least that's what I've heard from the fund-raisers.

What you're urging is unilateral disarmament, whose sole benefit would be a nice pure feeling that leads nowhere.
If you can figure out a way to abolish the Democratic party, I might start to listen to your idea, which seems to be to abolish the Republican party. Until then, put a sock in it. You are living in a fantasy world. All you can do is confuse people who are stupid enough to go along with your loser mindset.

No victim card here. If you want to see a victim card played, look at the clips of the impeached one's interview on FOX News Sunday.Alright alright. Let there be no doubt that the Bent One is a whiner. Probably the kindest thing than can honestly be said of him. You're not a whiner. But I do think your outlook on the Constitution Party's electability needs a little adjustment. I have read their platform and, in spite of the fact that I'm not a Christian, I think it's great. But I won't use my vote to make a point. The CP candidate had better look good to win.
