Thats a very significant poll, North Arlington is a strong blue collar town with many government and unionized workers. This could be an indication of a landslide for Kean.

Yes, as an former Kearny resident, I know the lay of the land well. And this is in Menendez backyard. If this poll is even marginally reflecting the picture, it could be curtains for Menendez. My fear is that the Dems will put in Codey at the last minute.

Nope, it's New Jersey, democrats get a do-over. They'll replace Menendez on the ballot with someone who won't have time to implode before the election.

Maybe they'll just run Lautenberg, and he can resign his other seat after the election so Corzine can appoint another corrupt democrat.

Meanwhile, republicans in Texas couldn't get DeLay off the ballot after he resigned his own congressional seat and moved to Virginia.
