the campaign is really about protecting dirty old men from porn.

It's as much about jealousy in the asexual or unattractive. Strange and annoying motives, but the protection of kids is certainly not one of them.

BS. It's about public libraries. If somebody was complaining about being exposed to nude people in a topless bar, it would be silly. The public library should be a place where someone can take their children and not have to worry about seeing hard core porn on the computer screens. I can't figure out why someone would want to look at porn in a library, anyway. It's only purpose is for masturbation, which IS still illegal in a library.

I cannot figure out why knee-jerk libertarians think they have the right to walk into an environment and cr@p on the floor, and if everyone else doesn't like it, they should leave. There's also the premise of respecting other people's sensibilities. If somebody wants to look at porn, they should get their own d@mned computer and internet connection.
