The way I see it, the only country we have any business talking merger with is Canada, and then only if the Bill of Rights is considered supreme over the entire union. That includes, of course, the Second Amendment. Forget Mexico. Imagine a common defense where some of the troops would demand "mordida" from the people they're protecting. Sheesh!
Many Canadians would support this Alliance provided Canadians are not taken for granted in percepttion as "wannabe YankeeDoodles" and a true Continental partnership is the result. Notwithstanding the fact most Western Canadians have as much in common with thier southern neighbours as thier eastern bretheren we are comfortable in our Canuckian skins and do not have the penis envy exhibited by the eastern socialists.
