Interesting idea, and a good one. Pakistan was always a makeshift country with absolutely nothing in common except religion. And for this reason it's not surprising that fundamentalism is so powerful in Pakistan, because any kind of patriotic or nationalistic spirit can only manifest itself as religious fanaticism: There just is no other unifying idea for Pakistan.
I can't see the Punjabi autocrats who rule Pakistan taking their boot off the Sindhis' throat anytime soon.
