Dixie Chicks flick flop When it is released to theaters this fall, a documentary about the Dixie Chicks is going to become an election issue, predicts hopeful news organizations who are desperately trying to wedge the film into cultural and political relevance. Perhaps they have overlooked public disinterest

That's when you post a thread and stick it in every topic section, even ones that don't fit in an effort to "spam" all the particular topics.
I shoulda put a dash like this:
topic-spam
It has since been cleaned up by the mod.
LOL! Out here in the greater L.A. area, the mostly Dim city of Inglewood refused to let Wal-Mart build a store there. (Inglewood is mostly African-American, and it desperately needs the business and income that a Wal-Mart would bring into the city.)
So Wal-Mart found a huge site in Torrance, about 15 miles or so south of Inglewood. Guess who does most of the shopping there? Guess whose city is not reaping the benefits of where many of it's citizens' dollars are being spent? (Torrance is a middle-class, mostly white and Asian city. It has a moderate to conservative electorate.)
Nope....
And they'll just be 3 chicks that nobody missed at all. ;)
Ah so! Thanks for the def!
So....the corollary is "post spamming" where people put 400 prefab'd web-links into a single post and repeat it on 5 different marginally related threads....hate those guys.....scroll-scroll-scroll.....geez!
sounds like what's happening here in Alabama - the Southern Baptists (of which I'm one) raise hell about any plan to bring in the lottery or casinos on the causeway in Mobile, yet you go to Biloxi and the majority of car tags in the parking lots are ALABAMA....go figure! All I can say about WalMart is that I can go to Winn-Dixie, Bruno's, FoodWorld, etc. and they cannot beat the prices of Walmart....so why would I (or anybody else for that matter) shop anywhere but Walmart....(And I'd love for the law to change and casinos come to Mobile! I wouldn't spend as much on gas!)
Why was she banned?
There was nothing wrong with this posting.
There are no "topics" listed, so how did she "topic-spam"?
I think Asclepius was right on -- why exactly was Clara Lou piling on?
Beansox didn't say anything I haven't heard a million times.
If it offends someone's dear sensibilities, well that person always has the right to skip past the post.
OK, she must've said something pretty bad to have a post deleted by the mods.
I stand corrected.
With Sara Evans able to duplicate the Dixie Chicks sound all by herself, they'll not be back.
