Sorry for the rant but I just heard Todd Schnitt on WIOD Radio in South Florida slamming WorldNetDaily for being a "kook" website and then griping about how they are always shilling for products. At that exact moment, Schnitt broke away for a bunch of commercials...shilling for products.

A couple of years ago, Schnitt hinted that he might be leaving the South Florida airwaves so I had some hope to be rid of his banality. Unfortunately, he is STILL on our airwaves like an unwelcome guest BORING the hell out of us.

Are you saying WND and Farah aren't kooks hawking a mishmash of products to other kooks, or are you saying that Schnitt shouldn't be calling the Farah kettle black?

I've not heard him, but I've got to agree: WND is a little...odd. And as unreliable as Debka for news. In the meantime, if Schnitt became angry and agitated on the air, would that qualify as a Schnitt fit?

I don't have any problem with websites selling products. What gets me is the HYPOCRISY of Schnitt criticizing WorldNetDaily for selling stuff when his show is FULL of commercials.

I've never heard of the guy but I do visit WND every day ads and all.

As for WND being "unreliable" I don't see it anymore than anywhere else. Most of their stories come from elswhere.

I don't get that. It isn't tough at all to sell almost any product you want on the web. My blog has a product that I use and like so why would I want to put a crappy product up?

Well put. WND sold out to the kooks right around the Y2k media hyped scare. I remember some bureaucrat, up in Oregon or Montana I think, took those pills and had his skin turn light blue.
