We are clearly getting our ass kicked in many ways.

From Dearbornistan to our borders, from Boston’s Big Dig to Katrina’s FEMA lunacy, over and over there are places it is obvious “America” is flailing or failing.

However, you can finish a semester with a passing grade even if your midterms sucked. I think that is where we are now.

The Founders were very clear that only good, moral people with some sense of history and edumecation would be able to live free. Today we have many people in our midst that do not know right from wrong, or even acknowledge the existence of right and wrong. Today we have many people in our midst too stupid to read this sentence. Worse, now we have Islamists and A.N.S.W.E.R. types, militant unassimilated immigrants and Code Pink Moonbats, presented to these dumb, less than good people as viable rising sub-cultures.

But, do I think America will fail? Hell no.

Do I think America is flailing at some pretty important things? Of course it is. The evidence is overwhelming.

So, what do we do? Here’s a good start:

Pray.
Teach.
Make Babies.
Repeat.

Simplistic, yes, this whole 195 word rant/analysis is. But, that doesn’t mean I’ve failed. Grin.
