The atheists believe that their secularism is "tolerant". It is not. Oppose Atheism and State.

Atheism is a religion. It is a belief their is not God. Agnosticism says "don't know". Atheists have no doubt about their belief. You could say, they have faith.

respecting our great diversity.

The best line ever on diversity came from Fred Reed: "When I lived in DC, the diversity stole my bicycle."

"Does that mean that the next time the skinheads want to come to town, they can play music in our Open Space instead of a cornfield?"

Yes. It also means that capitalists can rally behind businesses and hold up banners that say so.

We permitted the pro-Hitler, pro-Stalin Communists to "urge peace" before we entered WWII.

You have the right to engage in unpopular politics in this country. That is free speech.

Fundraising on public property can be prohibited, but not the gathering.

If the "pro-unity" commies cared so much about gathering, why don't they set a date on the calendar? And would they permit conservative organizations to get approval for booths?

That is what political correctness is all about. Criminalizing conservative thought. Pro-life? You oppose womyns' rights. Believe thousands of years of teaching against homosexuality? You are a prudish bigot. Compare homosexuality to beastiality? You are an irrational bigot.

The writer shows her silliness--hate from a Christian group raising money for Catholic schools??--(which she would surely oppose receiving any public support)... that's silly, Emma. I'm quite sure the groups you mentioned would be welcome to listen and maybe contribute.
