No! Islamofascism is a 1300+ year-old threat.
The islamic troglodytes have been accosting our society since the day they realized we were not islamic.
This is nothing new at all.
Anyone who has even a cursory knowledge of history knows that from the death of Mohammed in 632 until the present, Islam has spread by violence, conquest and jihad. It even reached present day France until halted by Charles Martel in 732 at Tours. At one point they besieged Vienna.
They again attempted to conquer Europe when they took Constantinople (present-day Istanbul) in 1453. They ravaged north Africa, many cities of which had been centers of Christian learning.
Christianity, as we know, has had episodes of violence and intolerance in its history. BUT, there is one crucial difference. When these episodes occured with Christianity they were essentially betrayals of the teachings of its founder - Christ. With Islam violence, force, and jihad ARE THE VERY BEHAVIOUR AND EXAMPLE of its founder - Mohammed. And they've NEVER been repudiated - just perpetuated.

I dream of a future world where it can be decided globally that this Muslim religion will be banned and it will cease to exist. Like in Star Trek.
Here in the US I am hoping for at the very least Homeland security will get more aggresive and actually start screening all those coming into the US, if they practice being Muslim then they will either expect a long term focus upon their lifestyle of more bluntly told that they must denounce their faith before becoming a US citizen.
