"I don't understand turncoats as Murtha and Kerry..Where do they think their freedoms come from. The U.N.? As an Iraqi Freedom Veteran it turns my stomach. Shut these FOOLS down!"
Radel, William D.
"I am an active duty CW5 here at Ft. Bragg NC. I have been deployed into theater 3 times for about 24 months and am deploying to Afghanistan late this year. I am so disgusted as a Pennsylvanian to know that Murtha is representing my state. That he would sell down the river any chance those Marines might have for a fair trial is beyond reprehensible. ... Add my name to your list! Add it twice."
Myers, James A.
"I know I am not from PA and therefore can not vote for you but I would like to pledge my support to you and your campaign. Murtha is a disgrace to the Marines everytime he opens his mouth. He is also a disgrace to America as a whole by working so hard and so fast to judge and exicute our military every chance he gets. This disgusts me to no end. I'm so happy to see a politician who can think outside what sadly has become a norm. That norm is Cut and Run, a breath away from treason and no support for our troops. I would like to say thank you for support the men and women who work so hard and to keep us safe and daily put their very lives on the line for men and women who are not Americans. Every 2 weeks I donate my time and my own money to drive to Landstuhl Medical Center to visit with wounded soldiers, airmen and marines. Their spirits are high and strong. They hear Murtha's and Kerry's words but for the most part ignore them... what we are doing in Iraq and Afganistan is right and just. God Bless you and I will pray for the success of your campaign."
Caldwell, Steffen A.
"I have never been so ashamed of an EX-Marine (he should not be allowed to claim the title) Consider his time in congress, and time in the Corps, must have been a reservist promoted only because he is a Congressman. Let's make that an Ex-Congressman too. I don't contribute to local politicians, but I am sending my check to defeat Murtha."
Williams, Rush J.
"Dear Diana, I wanted to throw my support to you in your courageous just stand on important issues. None is greater than Iraq. While I respect and honor Congressman Murtha's service in Vietnam, and even his right to say what he has. With his words come consequences, and I pray that you will know every success in your endeavor to unseat him."
Dalgity, John E.
"Our prayers are for Diana to beat John Murtha. The man is a disgrace and an embarassment to the Military and to the State of Pa. My wife and I grew up and lived there until I joined the Air Force."
Gaughan, Donald
No doubt that vets have plenty to say about John Murtha, but Free Republic's language rules prohibit posting those remarks.
Synonyms! :-)
"Murtha is guilty of sedition and treason and undermining the morale of our troops. I hope you show him the door in November. I will REALLY be disgusted with the voters in his District if they choose to extend his worthless career!"
Johnson, D. Andrew
I am still amazed that someone who once wore the uniform of a Marine, would so callously betray them. Murtha has utterly disgraced himself & the Marines and should be court-martialed. For even though he is no longer in the service, he is still claiming all the fringe benefits such as recognition as an ex-Marine, pension, etc...
Yeah, apparently his Latin's not so good.
Semper Fidelis
"Semper Fidelis"
I have seen this many times here on FR, and often wondered what it meant. But, I guess there just wasn't enough interest on my part to go look it up and find out the meaning. I looked it up this time.
...Murtha is a traitor...
For Murtha I coined the term "Semper Treasonous"
That's funny!
during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged." -- President Abraham Lincoln -- |
LOL, something tells me to RUN!!
Support the war on terror |
NICE!
Thank you Seadog. I think I missed a post of yours earlier, I am behind!!
"I've known John Murtha since 1975 when I worked Congress for the Marine Corps as Legislative Liaison. He was a conceited, egotist then and he's an even bigger horse's ass now. You have permission to quote me." Lt. General Charles G. Cooper, USMC (Ret)
Yeah, I remember that quote. :-) I should have thought to include it on this thread. Thanks.
Don't fret. That's not a problem.
Thank you!
