I am so glad I read through to your post. Hitler "stole" and misused the sign. He doesn't own the sign. In fact, the shape and symbol are far, far older than Hitler. Egads. It's an older Christian symbol. It's why Hitler appropriated the symbol. He appropriated the symbol for propogandistic purposes against the Jews -- using it as a "revenge" symbol, allegedly, for what Jews did to Christ.

It's along the lines of the liberals using "hate crimes" legislation, pretending they themselves are so squeeky pure. Thanks for your detailed and informative post, RebelTex.
