I just realized that since two of the top pings are from P.J., then the true "business" top ten are really the top 12. I am brilliant. So I was really 2nd, and you weren't...You really are brilliant...

Marc Ash:
we erred in getting too far out in front of the news-cycle. I don't know whats more embarassing - the fact that Truthout lied about the Rove indictment or the fact that they expect their readership to swallow this swill.

PJ - a plea for mercy! Please bring back Little Beaver as the header graphic for all DUFU posts. I have to remember to switch off pix in Firefox so as to avoid that upchuck inducing picture of Pitt.

"An uncharacteristically cryptic "explanation" from the Pied Piper himself..."There's nothing cryptic about this. It's "STFU! It's for me to know and you to find out" time. The PITT'ster is just making excuses to continue his silence. He'll do anything but come clean.

Locking. Calling out another member is against the rules.
Yet it was perfectly ok for pitt to go on a drunken, profanity laced rant, insulting skinner and half the DUmmies. Their reasoning is so...well, unreasonable.
To: bcsco
It's cryptic in that it's relatively brief.

Their reasoning is so...well, unreasonable.I always found it, personally, amusing that liberals and Democrats, hearty enthusiastic proponents of "reason" and "logic" rather than "emotion," tend to practice the opposite of what they preach.
And consistency (along with reason and logic) does not prosper well in DUmmieland.

I wonder how we'd react here on FR if this had happened to one of us.That's one of the differences between FR and DU. We primarily post news from other places; "vanities" are rare even if it's somebody's own research just for FR.

"I always found it, personally, amusing that liberals and Democrats, hearty enthusiastic proponents of "reason" and "logic" rather than "emotion," tend to practice the opposite of what they preach." Exactly! They believeeeee in Rove's indictment, and insist Cheney and Bush have committed crimes against America and humanity, all based on completely unsupportable information, yet see no irony in locking any thread that attempts to hold the PITT'ster accountable for his actions.
They are completely clueless!

Since you two seem to have the ability to stay sane in DU,
what's the take on sheehan buying land in Crawford?
To: gate2wire
"Since you two seem to have the ability to stay sane in DU, what's the take on sheehan buying land in Crawford?" Speaking of which, check out this thread on that subject. It seems the property was bought under false pretenses by another person 'representing' Sheehan...

It seems that you can't speak "truth to power" to Pitt and the liberals, but it's OK for them to do it to conservatives. Typical liberal hypocrites!
To: Ronaldus Magnus Reagan
"It seems that you can't speak "truth to power" to Pitt and the liberals, but it's OK for them to do it to conservatives. Typical liberal hypocrites!"An interesting statement. Let's pretend that Crawford, TX is the DU community. If Crawford residents 'call out' this guy Fonseca on his deceitful purchase, Skinner - as mayor - would shut down the argument (lock the thread) because their reaction would break city (DU) rules.
I wonder if any of that would come up in a real DU thread about Sheehan and 'her' purchase?

Ready? I can't. LOL! Oh, that's a good one. DUmmies who are always bitching about the "Secrecy" of the Bush Administration when they're fighting to save your stinking DUmmie hides from Islamofascists who'd kill every one of them, sit back and let Pitt say "I can't" because someone higher up says so--no further explanation allowed.
I mean, he couldn't have given a more perfect answer.

"I mean, he couldn't have given a more perfect answer." It's the easiest out, the most obvious out, yet the perfect out. (I'm prohibited from mentioning anything about this by my boss). That pretty well lays to rest any further attempts at getting to the bottom of the issue; why bother? The onus is off the PITT'ster.
