just a reminder. The 50 caliber ban was signed into law by "Republican" rinold schwarzenegger and its not just the bmgs that are banned. its single shot black powder muzzleloader rifles as well as the 50 caliber muzzleloader pistols.Another thing how in the heck does the atf have the authority to enforce a state (unconstitutional)gun ban?

The ATF seems able to do what it wishes.
Will the last American to leave California please turn out the lights, and bring out our flag?

It's all a stat's game. Their picking low hanging fruit rather than risk their over paid fannies dealing with gangbangers* (Retired Cali cop here) It was funny during the LA Rodney King riots, seeing all the sgt's kicking the lame d#cks out of the jail booking area ..... "But Sarge, this guy has got three FTA's!!..."
*And frankly, why should anyone risk their butt for LA?

The BATFE should be disbanded. The government has no business in what you drink, what you smoke, what firearms you own, or any explosive.
If you use a gun or bomb in the commission of a crime you ought to get an automatic death sentence.
In the end the only systems of government that seem to work are those based on freedom. Our government, at all levels, is busy stripping away any freedom they can get their hands on.

"just a reminder. "Another thing how in the heck does the atf have the authority to enforce a state (unconstitutional) gun ban?"
Isn't the ATF under the control of La Raza member Alberto Gonzalez?

Everyone needs to vote for Rudy Rino, get over this "FREEDOM" thing!
My point is this, so long as we can't even get 100% support, on what is supposed to be the most Republican site around, I don't expect things to get better. This whole forum should be up in arms against this crap, fat chance!
My next vote may be my last, if I can't use it, with a clear conscience, I may just have it buried with me.

"The BATFE should be disbanded."
Yes ... they should be treated like the Nazi's they are ... not with protests, not with letters of discontent, not with calls to politicians to complaine ... no, they should be treated the same way the Allies treated the Nazi's in WWII.

You mind showing where in the law the portion that covers anything other than the BMG round? I'd also be interested in seeing where muzzleloaders are covered. If such a law exists, I'll be sure to notify my local authorities that I've a cache of .69 and .75 cal muskets and rifles for them to charge me with. The malicious prosecution settlement would pay for a wonderful vacation, and I know my lawyer needs a new car.

If the caught a person in a riot with a Molotov cocktail in their car, they would probably never be prosecuted for possession of a destructive device. Robbers using Machine guns or sawed off shotguns are never prosecuted for possessing a class III weapon. The BATF exists solely to harrass dealers and citizens to the delight of douchebags like Dianne Feinstein.

This smells...Hardy is not the guy who wrote this article, Hardy got via email from a guy who saw it on a 50 cal website. Hardy is not the friend of the guy who was arrested.
Look at Hardy's website, what do think? ATF enforcing state law? Someone see if they can obtain a copy of the arrest report, which is a public record, even in Commie CA.

You may be right. I searched various combinations of this on Google and found nothing.

No newspaper articles? Anyone look at the NRA? I know a retired FBI analyst, not an agent, I don't believe they go around calling friends and then passing the info to the public?

No news articles. Some anti BATF stuff goes around like Urban Legends. I heard one about a BATF agent stomping a kitten to death, for instance.

We should be careful about the accuracy of what we charge the ATF with. They do enough horrendous stuff that we certainly don't need to make up anything.

You might try www.accoona.com for gun searches. Google's left wing policies may not allow a full spectrum of results.

Will the last American to leave California please turn out the lights, and bring out our flag? I left in 2001. The lights were already going out literally, so I figured I must have been the last one left.
All you red-staters still living out there need to cash in on your gross real estate profits and get the F out. All you are doing at this point is letting them have too many electoral votes.
