Who Has Seen/Will See "Dead Man's Chest" Today?
Posted on 07/07/2006 11:06:15 AM PDT by AnnaZ
My younger son has been marking off the days -- 45 of 'em -- 'til today. There were 4 midnight shows he begged for (12:01, 12:02, 12:03, 12:04), but since he just turned six, I had to turn him down. We'll be going at 4.
He received just about every Jack Sparrow marketing device for his birthday on the 4th, and will be wearing the outfit to the show (LOL). He's been eating the cereal and M&M's for weeks.
I'm actually looking forward to it, as I love Johnny Depp.

Thanks for your thoughts.
Love the John Adams quote. If you ever get a chance to see the stage production of 1776 do go. John Adam's character is worth the price of admission.
It tis a good world after all. We are blessed.

Thanks for the tip. Sounds like something I would love to see.
I'm a huge John Adams fan. ("Where's my John Adams?")
I took the kids to see "Seven Brides For Seven Brothers" live in the park last night. Great, wholesome production. Shocking, frankly...

(I think so, Brain, but if we give peas a chance, won't the lima beans feel left out?)

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers...
What fun! I remember the movie.
We're headed over to Minneapolis next weekend to see the Broadway production of Wicked.
My wife, and eldest daughter, who love theater, are giddy with excitement.

So glad y'all have something to look forward to. As for my brood, following up a week that included a carnival-style birthday party, the Austin Symphony performing 1812 Overture with the Texas National Guard on cannons followed by fireworks, Dead Man's Chest, and a live musical, no matter what I come up with this week they're gonna think it's lame. I'm going to have to scramble like an egg to entertain 'em.
*sigh*
