I drove school bus for three years, my dad made me learn to drive a stick, I can butcher and can food and cook, I've rewired the phone systems for two houses, taken a toilet off, replaced the seal, and snaked the drain, then put it back together. I can change the oil in my car, or a flat tire, at one point I knew how to gap the plugs. I work full time and go to college full time. I have a huge dog, a ferret, and I don't like cats. I'm pretty good with a Glock .23.Know any late forty something year olds, that would be interested? LOL!

It's the Glock thingy. See my current wife has a wicked temper, but being raised in the PRM, she doesn't know the difference between a Glock and a cuckoo clock, so the most dangerous thing she can wield is her sharpened tongue; so far I've survived that. If she knew the difference between an automatic and a revolver, I don't think I'd be here today.

I do remember one time, for whatever reason, she wanted to argue about some (what seemed to me) trivial thing. I agreed, she was right, I was wrong, pointed conceded. That wasn't good enough for her, she persisted. Her eyes were burning red, orange light was glowing from around the holes where her hair came out of her head. She beat ineffectively on my chest with her tiny little fists, spurtering out, "What do you say to that! What do you say to that!" Having already conceded point, match and game, what more could I say? I placed my hands gently on her shoulders, looked deeply into her eyes and spoke, "Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day; Thou art more temperate and more fair..." In a stunning comeback, game to Lonesome! Of course, if she knew how to handle firearms, I wouldn't be here to tell you this story. (Alternatively, if she knew how to handle firearms, I might have been more careful about the kind of scraps that I got into in the first place...)
