Winkler chose to answer not that question, but one he would have preferred: "You know what? The first thing I would do would -- I would end the war in Iraq. I`d just kind of click it." He then went on, "And the second thing I would do, I would mute Ann Coulter." Why do liberals have such a hard time answering questions they are asked??
And why do they have to keep telling us that think Bush Sucks ... we know already .. they haven't stopped whining since 2000

The remote control doesn't "solve" such problems. Hitting Fast Forward just "skips" all the things that happen in-between. From the commercial, the main guy misses seeing his daughter grow up.
The "war in Iraq" (what he really means is US presence in Iraq) could be over but there are several ways that could happen, stay the course and eventually "leave" (as with Germany and Japan), or cut and run (which could have several outcomes, a civil war or peace).
We ALL want the war/presence to end. Some just want it more immediate than the others.
I cried on 9-11-2001. I knew that day that we would be drawn into a longterm global war. The Cold War was fought around the globe (and virtual annihilation almost happened several times). I want us to win the war, not just acheive peace in our lifetime. The next generation may not see peace if evil is allowed to thrive.

Why do liberals have such a hard time answering questions they are asked??Because the answer is one they don't like?

Why do liberals have such a hard time answering questions they are asked?? I've wondered this for years, also. But they tend to be evasive even with straightforward questions. Ask a liberal what they do, they may say 'I'm a writer.' What have you written? 'I've written for magazines.' What magazines? 'Some political journals...'
It's maddening at times. I like to be direct in these situations and press them until they reveal they are a proofreader for a huge law firm who gets letters printed now and then in 'Socialist Worker .'
