"Who knew illegal immigration was a "gateway crime"?"

It makes perfect sense. The first thing they do when they set foot on American soil is break all of our immigration laws. It also follows that these illegals are not the cream of the crop of their homeland, because honest folks won't sneak into another country in the shadows of darkness, break the immigration and tax laws of that country, and still have any sense of self respect left.

Of course I do understand that it makes things a little easier when the President of that country refuses to enforce his own immigration laws.

The United States Senate can only be described as "enablers" then. Someone sneaks into our country illegally, participates in identity theft and fraud in order to obtain a false SSN and a job, and the punishment meted out by the Senate? They get to draw Social Security benefits.
