This is total BS ... appearing here on FR as red meat to inflame FReepers who are inclined to jump on this type of tripe. Some asshole liberal is getting a huge chuckle out of this ... at your expense.

Government should get out of the charity disaster business and let the private sector deal with it, who'll do a much better job at a fraction of the cost anyway.
I'm sick of these 3rd world Hell holes. Earthquakes happen in the U.S. all the time and it doesn't reach the disaster proportions that happen to these countries. IMPLEMENT FRICKING BUILDING CODES, BUILD BRICK-AND-MORTAR HOMES INSTEAD OF THESE MUD HUTS!!

Since Indonesia is 90% Muslim, I am surprised they would even accept any help from infidels. After all, we might try to convert them from devil worship , er I mean Islam.
Wonder what the Saudis have done to help?

We are such chumps. Now they expect it. And you can bet what they are being told...
We have the U.S. so afraid of our terror tactics that they give you money to fix your homes following an earthquake. We make them give it to you.

I just finished talking to my friend just befor e I saw this posted and mentioned that I will not contribute a dime to this earthquake relief effort.
For every dime I would have considered sending to this Mooselimb nation, I will send it to an Israeli charity for helping the victims of Mooselimb suicide cultists.

Shouldn't we wait for a consensus from the UN as to what to do? What does France think? How about Belgium? Wouldn't want to be accused of being cowboys now, would we?

According to today's news, Indonesians are "angry" at the US for not responding quickly enough with enough aid to help them recover from the most recent disaster (the earthquake) in an unbroken series of disasters.
Too busy to cite your source I guess.
