"you guys push the base away"? I am the base too, just not the hyperventilating neurotic wing. One of the things that impressed me about the republicans all these years is that there was room for different points of view on issues. One of the reasons I came to FR because of the caliber of the discussions, the intellectual give and take, the consideration of ideas. Since your 2005 crop came, it's developing more the flavor of DU...hysterics instead rational discussion, rushing to judgment without having enough information to do so (i.e. Bush sealing the Jefferson papers for 45 days)...every thread becoming all about "you" and your pet issue. It has nothing to do with whether you agree or not because no one can tell that you do, it's just the same thing, post after post after post.
