Since you can find any kind of jibberish Engrish all over the place in Japan (kinda like nonsensical "Asian" tattoos in the US), does it really matter what the Japanese call it?

Hello FRiends. Thank you again for your input on the city name. I attended the town meeting and presented the ideas you so kindly provided.

After I told them of the reaction of English speakers I reminded them of the following:

Fujisawa Koho city newsletter recently published a front page article saying that English is the international language. Whether or not we agree with this proposition, it is the direction of the City. Shouldn’t we try to standardize the approach to international matters?

I don't know if there will be any revision ("it has already been decided...") but if I hear anything, I will post here.
