So true. I know this has been a big issue for many in the past. However, I think its fair to say that for the last 30 years we have pretty much ignored the whole thing while reaping some of the benefits. This is one reason when we are talking about folks that have been here for years have families etc the charge of criminal doesnt grab me that much. In a very big way by simple indifference perhaps we have made some sort of social compact here in some way. At least to their families. AHH this issue is a tough one. Last Sunday, I was being bad in Church (talking before mass) and was talking to a woman that was on the Parish Council about this issue. She pointed out a guy she said that was illegal. I was pretty shocked. HE had been there since I starting attending. Never knew and his even kids go to the Catholic school
