I would have thought he got tomb stoned after what he posted to Skinner.

Good point. Would Skinner do that, I wonder?

I should hope so. I figured we would have seen a Pitt post by now saying he was sorry and that he was drunk at the time. I haven't seen one yet so I'm wondering if that's what happened.

You know, this drives me nuts, and probably it's that I'm just not "getting it."

Whenever I include text with a link, no matter what I do with the "<" and ">" thingamajigs, it never comes out as a link. Anyway, a working link should be in the following comment from me. Sorry about that, but I am flummoxed.

"I should hope so." You or me, sure, but Skinner seems to be a bit of a wimp. Don't think he would want to piss off all the pitt sycophants.

I gave the original a solid deep red color. This DU knock off deserved a queer, magentish tinge. the only thing better would be in a LGBT rainbow scheme

Thanks. It looks like most the posters there are willing to accept "24 business hours" to mean by this coming Saturday. How do these people tie their shoes in the morning?

LOL!! How long is '24 business hours' anyway? Around 4 hours each day? I think these people must use velcro to 'tie' their shoes. There is no way they could manage regular shoe strings.

If it was "banker's hours", it would be 4 days. Banker's hours are amusingly known to be 9AM to 3PM.

In my business we do use the term 24 or 48, etc., "business hours" quite a lot. Everybody in this industry knows that to mean 24 hours from the second I'm talking to you to the next day at the exact same time. So if at 2:00 on Tuesday I say you'll have it in 24 business hours, that means you'll have it no later than 2:00 on Wednesday.

I love how the DUmmies want to subtract time out for coffee breaks, lunch hours, personal days, personal phone calls, and so on, from the term.

I should add that it only applies Monday through Friday, in my industry anyway.

At any rate, to the DUmmies, 24 business hours now means one week. I guess they're all part timers.....those that work. Is it really any wonder none of them know what it means?

Yeah, they're having a ball over there, but it's more comfortable here. Format of freerepublic is easier to use; not as much using of this "back button" and all that, and 50 comments per page beats a mere 10

Frank, you can set your Freep format to display more than 50 posts a page. I got mine set at 100.

interesting long background on Jason Leopold and his quest to GET ROVE.

There seems to be a LW Bush hating coccoon where all of these leaks are coming from. Among the characters:

Larry Johnson
Ray McGovern
Joe Wilson & his lawyers
Valerie Plame & her lawyers
Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS)
Richard Sale
Rand Beers
Richard Armitage
Marc Grossman

and

Jason Leopold
(Will Pitt does not rate, as he is trying to inject himself into the group)

Leopold has already reported TWELVE TIMES that Karl Rove was about to be indicted!

Must watch video. See link and click video to see Michelle Malkin give a great summary of the entire Leopold/Rove saga.

That is true. I had friends that were in "Purple Reign" and were paid $50 a day. (I started a new job the first day of filming, so I had to back out-ha) One of them is in the very first frame of the film--her face in close-up.

I forgot to mention the part about lunch. Yes, they do provide lunch.

Among those who declined to join the standing ovation was Michigan Court of Appeals Chief Judge William Whitbeck, one of the few Republican officeholders in attendance. He said it struck him as odd that federal prosecutors had chosen to announce such a significant development on a Saturday night, but he left the banquet convinced that Rove's indictment was a fait accompli.

Ha! It figures that the only person mentioned that was having doubts about the "news" was a Republican, before even he succumbed to the evil influences of the DemonRats!
