One conservative leader on the call said the only way for the White House to offer a real new beginning on judicial nominees was to bring in a new counsel in place of Miers. She was rumored to be on the way out after new Chief of Staff Josh Bolten took charge last month, but nothing has materialized since then. Was one of the "leaders" Coulter? Did she refer to Miers as a "cleaning lady" again?
Some of these conservatives ought to keep their mouths shut, especially on judicial nominees.
They can't accept that they ran Miers off; they've got to continue to attack her.
Jerks.

( I didn't know until just now that it was Barzini all along.)

Hey Sink, don't you have a bull riding contest to call over in Beaumont? It's always so nice to hear from you. I value your pithy comments as always.

Thank God she was run off. What a pitiful nominee for the U.S. Supreme court she was.
As Limbaugh said today, the President isn't a conservative he is a politician. He proves it every day with stunts like the Harriet Miers nomination.

Do as I say or I'll leak something nasty to the press.
These are the kinds of "real true conservatives" who are part of the problem.

Some of these conservatives ought to keep their mouths shut...Some of these conservatives aren't conservatives at all, but something difficult to define without using inflammatory terms like reactionary, demagogue and Neanderthal.
