Leading off by stating he was a McCain guy simply means he is still a McCain guy and never was a Bush guy at any point.

Yep. About where I thought this thread was gonna go.

While I have my own issues with Bush, he has been a heck of a lot better than Kerry would have been. When Bush has been "good", he's been great. When he's been "bad", he's been an outright Democrat.

Seems everyone has a different opinion of "good" and "bad" though.
