This is NOT an immigrant nation. There are 280 million native born Americans. While it is true that this nation was settled and founded by immigrants (legal immigrants), it is also true that there is not a nation on this planet that was not settled by immigrants at one time or another.
yup, yup, yup. I hate the 'We are a nation of immigrants' crap. Exactly what is that supposed to mean anyway? And name one country that is still occupied by its original native peoples.

Just heard the First Lady say this on Foxnews. What does that mean, we are a nation of immigrants? You could just as easily say we are a nation of Women, or Europeans. I guess she forgot that words mean things. I rate "We are a nation of immigrants." right up there with "Our diversity is our strength." Neither means anything, but both are tossed around to justify someone's POV.
